Maybe you’ve tried resting. Maybe you’ve tried to cut back. You’ve likely done the things you’re supposed to do. And you still wake up exhausted, foggy, or on edge almost like your body forgot how to actually recover.

A lot of the adults we see have been told it’s stress, aging, or anxiety. And maybe it is. But for many people, there’s something more specific going on like a nervous system that got stuck in survival mode and doesn’t know how to come back down on its own.

That’s not a personal failing. It’s something we can actually look at, measure, and address.

If your child is struggling with focus, behavior, sensory overwhelm, learning, coordination, emotional regulation, or simply seems to be having a harder time than other kids their age, we want you to know: there is a reason this is happening, and there is a path forward.

What is Functional & Holistic Neurology?

Functional neurology looks at how well your brain and nervous system are actually communicating and functioning day to day. Our holistic approach also looks at what’s happening in the rest of your body, your gut, your inflammation levels, your nutrient status because those things have a direct impact on how your brain feels and performs.

Most medical tests are designed to rule out serious disease. When those tests come back normal and you still feel terrible, that gap between “nothing is wrong” and “I don’t feel like myself” is exactly where we work.

You don’t need a diagnosis to come in. You need answers, and we’ll be with you every step of the way!

A Thorough Assessment First

Before we recommend anything, we take the time to understand exactly what’s happening in your nervous system. Your evaluation looks at vestibular function, executive function, balance and coordination, and cognitive processing. We don’t hand you a general protocol, everything we recommend comes directly from what we find in your assessment.

Clearing the Brain-Body Connection

The first step is preparing your nervous system to respond. We use shockwave therapy to clear up interference in the brain-body connection, improving the quality of the signals traveling between your body and your brain. Priming this pathway first means the work that follows lands more effectively and the changes hold longer.

Custom Neurological Exercises

This is where rehabilitation gets specific to you. Based on what your assessment reveals, we use targeted neurological exercises tested and tailored to your individual brain. Rather than a one-size-fits-all routine, we train the exact areas and pathways that need it, helping underperforming systems work the way they’re supposed to.
